Overview

Text Power Tools is a Google Sheets add-on used to clean, transform, and extract text from selected spreadsheet cells based on actions initiated by the user.

Information Accessed

The add-on accesses spreadsheet values and structure only for the currently open spreadsheet and only when you run an action from the sidebar.

It requests only the minimum Google permissions required to read and update selected ranges and to render the add-on user interface.

How Information Is Used

Data is used only to complete requested operations in your spreadsheet, such as changing case, inserting prefixes and suffixes, cleaning characters, or extracting matching patterns.

No spreadsheet content is sold.
No spreadsheet content is used for advertising.
No spreadsheet content is intentionally sent to third-party external servers by this add-on.

Storage and Retention

The add-on is designed to process data within Google services and does not maintain a separate external database of your spreadsheet content.

Basic operational logs may exist through Google Cloud platform services for reliability and debugging. These logs are accessed only when required for maintenance and support.

Spreadsheet content is not shared with third parties except where required by law or by normal Google platform operations.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are applied, but no method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.

Your Choices

You can stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it from Google Workspace Marketplace.
